Cachet, who was affiliated with the Amsterdam School - an Art Deco related style in the Netherlands - that was at its height in the 1920's. Nice work.<br /><br />The 1927 issue does indeed remind one of some Indian god/goddess. When you look at the center closely, you'll see that the figure is built up from six birds - just as they appear in the corners of the stamp.
